Participants who want CE credit must complete the self-assessment test and evaluation form, which are provided at the end of each lecture. You will be able to print out the CE certificate after you have completed the self-assessment test and evaluation.

Accreditation Statement

ANCC: The Graduate Education Foundation is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Alabama State Nurses Association (ASNA), an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation (provider number 5-123).

GEF is also an approved provider by the Florida Board of Nursing (#50-8359).

AMA/ACCME: Graduate Education Foundation is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. AMA: Graduate Education Foundation designates these educational activities for a maximum of 2.0 American Medical Association (AMA) PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™, unless specifically noted on an individual lecture (ACCME Provider #0007247). AOA: This program is eligible for 1.5 credits in Category 2-B of the American Osteopathic Association. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AAPA: The programs were planned in accordance with AAPA's CME Standards for Enduring Material Programs and for Commercial Support of Enduring Material Programs. The AAPA Physician Assistant Review Panel has reviewed and approved the programs offered by GEF for AAPA Category I (Preapproved) CME credit for the hours indicated with each segment. PAs should claim only those hours actually spent participating in the CME activity.

Each lecture can be taken for credit one time every 12 months. Each lecture is updated every three years, or as new information on a subject becomes available. If a lecture is updated, users may take the lecture for credit provided that 6 months has passed since they last took the lecture for credit. Original publish dates, current publish date and expiration date for each lecture are shown in the lecture list.

Faculty Disclosure Statement

It is the policy of Graduate Education Foundation to insure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in all its sponsored educational programs. Authors at continuing education activities are required to disclose to the audience their financial relationships with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial products, goods or services related to the subject matter of the program topic. The intent of this disclosure is to allow participants to form their own judgments about the educational content of this activity and determine whether the author's commercial interests influenced the presentation. In addition, authors are required to openly disclose any off-label, experimental, or investigational use of drugs or devices discussed in their presentation.

Planners Disclosure Statement

All individuals involved in planning the CE activities must disclose any financial interests or relationships (theirs or spouse's/significant other's) in a commercial product or with a commercial interest prior to the start of the lecture development process.
