December 2008 Evaluating Online Continuing Medical Education Seminars: Evidence for Improving Clinical Practices
Graduate Education Foundation is pleased to announce the publication of an article on the effectiveness of online CE programs. In a study conducted by the Office of Health Policy at the Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine, funded by a non-restricted grant from the Philadelphia Health Care Trust, a randomized controlled trial was conducted to examine the potential for two online continuing medical education seminars (Type 2 Diabetes and Systolic Heart Failure) to improve the quality of care provided by physicians. | Read News Release...

October 2008 Graduate Education Foundation Achieves Significant Milestone
Graduate Education Foundation, Inc. (GEF) announced that more than one-hundred hospitals nationwide now subscribe to its online educational programming. The seminars are presented in a "Grand Rounds" format and are typically offered in partnership with state medical societies and nursing associations. There are presently 130 accredited, multi-media presentations online that encompass eighteen clinical topics.
